Join us for the American Society of Evidence-Based Policing’s Evidence-Based Inaugural Conference!

The ASEBP will be hosting the Evidence-Based Policing Conference May 22-23, 2017 at Arizona State University, AZ.  This conference will consist of two days of subject matter experts on various topics, workshops, networking and more. Panels will include Evidence-Based Policing, Body-worn Cameras, Procedural Justice, Police Technology (predictive analytics), Improving Police Legitimacy within Minority Groups, and a Chief’s Panel.

The conference will host police officers from around the world in Phoenix, Arizona as the 1st annual ASEBP Conference takes place on the campus of Arizona State University.  Hosted with the support of the Police Foundation and the ASU School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, this conference will focus on working police officers discussing how they have incorporated an evidence-based approach into their agencies.  The conference will feature a number of panels covering key areas of policing such as trust and legitimacy, dealing with mental health, use of force and de-escalation techniques.  Each panel will be moderated by an academic who can provide the research expertise to focus the discussions.

Conference attendees will benefit from learning what tactics and strategies have worked around the country and will leave with a better understanding of how to incorporate evidence-based practices into their organizations.

Conference fee for two-day May 22-23, 2017 $150 for non-members and $75.00 for members
